Junaid Safdar, the son of Chief Minister of Punjab, Mrs. Maryam Nawaz, has tied the knot with Shanzeh Ali in a graceful nikah ceremony held in Lahore. The nikah of Junaid Safdar and Shanzeh Ali took place yesterday in the presence of close family members and notable guests.

Nikah Ceremony Details
The ceremony was solemnised by the Sajjada Nashin of the Shrine of Shah Abdul Lateef Jilani. Chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology, Mufti Raghib Hussain Naeemi, personally took the consent of the bride. For Junaid Safdar, the occasion marked an important personal milestone celebrated with dignity and tradition.
Bride and Groom Attire
Junaid Safdar wore an elegant off-white sherwani paired with a gold-colored turban, reflecting a classic traditional look. The bride chose a beautiful traditional pink dress, complemented with graceful jewelry that enhanced her bridal appearance.

Distinguished Guests in Attendance
The nikah ceremony was attended by the parents of Junaid Safdar, including former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Salman Shahbaz, Hamza Shahbaz, Hassan Nawaz, Hussain Nawaz, and several senior leaders of Pakistan Muslim League Noon, along with their families and other guests, were also present to share the joy.
Valima Ceremony Scheduled
The valima of Junaid Safdar is scheduled to be held on Sunday at the Jati Umra farm. Around eight hundred guests have been invited, including Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, federal and provincial ministers, senior political leaders, and foreign guests.

Mehndi Ceremony Highlights
Earlier, a mehndi ceremony was organised on Friday, attended by a limited number of guests and close family members. During the event, Junaid Safdar appeared in a traditional deep navy-blue kurta with golden buttons, while a golden-brown shawl was draped over his shoulder.
Previous Marriage

This is the second marriage of Junaid Safdar. He was previously married to Ayesha Saif in 2021, and the marriage lasted for two years before the couple separated in 2023. Family and well-wishers have extended their prayers and warm wishes for Junaid Safdar as he begins this new chapter of life.
