Nadia Hussain rated Drama Case no 9 as no 1.
Nadia Hussain Khan has sprinkled the tribute to the recently ended play Case No 9 as the number 1 drama due to the influential and sentimental script and great performance of the cast.
Famous model and actor shared the different views form the play on her Instagram account along with the heart-touching captions which show her expression and admiration.
Beginning her post with an excited “WOW!!!!!!!!!!”, Nadia wrote that she was overwhelmed by what she witnessed on stage.
She has started her post with excitement of Wow …………Maza agaya. She cannot described her feelings in words after seeing such an amazing and heart touching Pakistani play which was on aired and an extremely sensitive issue was raised and a message was delivered how a rap survival can react if she unfortunately faced such situation.
She also admired with all parameters of the play including script, case, performance, production, direction and overall quality of the play.
She referred the play as a superbly fabricated storyline that tackled complex subjects with intensity and thoughtfulness, without hyperbole or overstatement.
The actress piled special applause on the cast’s performances, calling their performance as unmatchable and very strong”.
She also commended Saba Qamar and Faysal Quraishi for their leading presence, while also appreciating the impactful performances of Mirza Gohar, Amina Shaikh, Hina Khwaja Bayat and other actors who brought the story to life.
The famous actress also Reflected on the storyline, noted how Case No 9 skillfully explored critical social and legal issues including laws to the importance of evidence, from unfortunate situations to the might of resolve, from social pressures to the bonding of families and friends, and eventually exoneration against injustice,” she also described the play as a true demonstrative rollercoaster.
Nadia Hussain also emphasized that the thought was presented very effectively. There was a good balance and extreme clarity with which the message was delivered.
A part form this post, the serial Case NO 9 was a very good drama, it taught females that how to prevent from rap attempt, if someone is accidentally victim of Rap, what she has to do immediately, how to keep evidence secure and where the case will have to be reported.
How the world reacts when they hear that someone is rap survivor. Instead of be in the side of the victims, they start criticizing her whereas the reality is that she is as clear as she was before rap, because rap is not happened with the willingness of a female, this happens against her willingness.
This serial has highlighted the weak system of Pakistan to deal with the such cases and how Police and other institutions which supposed to provide a relief to victims, start making money from the accused and create an environment where complainant starts feeling that she has committed a crime after filing the complaint against the rapist. Specially if the rapist is rich, influential and powerful, how he takes advantages of different situations, using his money, authority, influence and power. On the other hand, there is a different face of the story that there are good people who has pain of such people, they are at side of victims regardless it may cost of their social status, personal relations and business reputations.
The character in the play “Mehwish, Rohit, Manisha, Kiran and SP Zohaib” are such people who portrayed a positive picture that this world is still full of blessed and good people versus the people like Inspector Shafiq and Advocate Bukhari who despite knowing the fact, try to create favorable circumstances to rapist and provide him a safe exit while they create a suffocated and breathless environment for a victims and in such situation they may go for suicide.
As far as the performance of the actors are concerned, everyone has put up her/his effort to make this serial successful and justified with the character. In my point of view, Noor ul Hasan has played beautifully the role of Advocate Bukhari and Gauhar Rasheed the role of Inspector Shafiq. They both played their negative character in a way people started praising of their performance and dialogue delivery despite of highly negative images.
In remaining actors, Faisal Qureshi and Saba Qamar displayed a powerful performance and put a real color in the characters of Rapist and Rap survivor.

Amina Shaikh has justified the character of Advocate of Rap Survivor, who has not provide a moral support to rap victims but also she has mentally trained her to face the people comment and harsh reality that has to be faced to a rape survivor.
Junaid Khan (Rohit) has also presented a significant performance and has portrayed before world how a business partner keeps his stake and interest at a side and how he provides his moral support with the right and against evil.
Last but not the least, the business and life partner of rapist, Rushna Khan (Kiran) has sacrificed her relation and ensured that the victim got relief and justice and gain her lost respect, reputation, job and peace of life. How she got the evidences through the drives of CCTV system and then shared it with he relevant authority shows the courage and a bold step of a woman who knows how to protect the respect and dignity of a woman specially in an Islamic Society.
The drama ended with powerful closing message delivered by Shahzeb, which left a deep imprint on the audience’s minds, “No Means No!!!! A Woman’s Life, A Woman’s Choice!!!!!!!”
