155 flights from Pakistan to the Middle East were cancelled today
Middle’s east tensed situation has caused the cancellation of more than 150 flights from Pakistan today. All these flights are proceeding to the Gulf states.
Including these flight cancellations, the total number of cancelled flights has reached 600 in the last four days.
If the Middle East is specifically reviewed, more than 16,000 flights from the Middle East have been cancelled during the last four days.
Below is the breakup of Pakistan: 38 flights from Karachi, 32 from Lahore, 36 from Islamabad, 13 from Sialkot, eight from Faisalabad, 10 from Multan, 16 from Peshawar, and two flights from Quetta were cancelled today (Tuesday).
Passengers stuck at Abu Dhabi and Dubai airports were sent back by 34 flights.

On average, if 160 travellers travel per flight, then in total, 2.6 million passengers were affected by the battle. Airspace and flight operations of eight countries are still closed today. Dubai, Sharjah, Kuwait, Doha, Abu Dhabi and Bahrain airports are the most affected. Seven major airports in the Middle East have cancelled over 10,000 flights.
In the last four days from Tel Aviv Airport in Israel, as many as 1,600 flights were cancelled as well.
In Jordan, about 828 flights were operated in Beirut and Haifa Airports, while 500 flights were cancelled, and 875 flights from Damascus, Najaf, Basra and other airports were cancelled.
Due to the continuous closure of airspace, 1,000 flights from different airports in Iran have also been cancelled.
Multiple flights have been cancelled at Islamabad International Airport on Tuesday due to the worsening security situation in the Middle East.

According to the flight schedule, AirBlue flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi have been cancelled, as has PIA’s flight to Dubai.
In addition to this, the FlyDubai flight to Dubai managed to depart late at night, while AirSial has also cancelled the flight to Dammam.
Moreover, Qatar Airways flight to Doha could not take off for the third consecutive day, while Emirates flight to Dubai has also been cancelled, and Etihad Airways’ flight to Abu Dhabi has also been cancelled.
Similarly, the Dubai flight to Dubai at 12 noon has also been cancelled, while FlyJinnah also cancelled the flight to Sharjah, and PIA has also cancelled its flight to Doha.
