JD Vance will lead US team to Pakistan for Iran talks: White House
Trump confirmed that US negotiation team will be in Pakistan on Monday to resume dialogues to end the war with Iran. He warned Iran too to destroy Iran power plants and bridges if there is no conclusion of dislogues.
Trump has nominated US Vice President JD Vance who will lead the US delegation for discussion with Iran in Pakistan, a White House official said on Sunday, after President Donald Trump designated Vance would not make the trip.

Vance, special envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner will also attend the dialogue for negotiations with Iran, a White House official stated AFP on condition of namelessness when asked about the makeup of the delegation after Trump’s comments.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump has said his representatives are leaving for Islamabad to negotiate. He further said this is a True Social post, adding that they will be there “tomorrow evening for negotiations”.
President Donald Trump further stated that US negotiators will be present in Pakistan on Monday to resume talks to conclude the war with Iran, as he again threatened to destroy its power plants and bridges negotiation gone unsuccessful.
Via a social media post on Sunday, Trump also accused Iran for violation of the countries’ two-week ceasefire and attacked on Saturday in the Strait of Hormuz.
President Trump also said that he was offering Iran “a sensible deal” and if Tehran refuses “the United States will ve going to knock out every single Power Plant, and every single Bridge, in Iran. This is a serious threat to Mr. Nice Guy!”
Trump further claimed that Iran had decided to fire bullets yesterday in the Strait of Hormuz, which was a total Violation of their Ceasefire Agreement! Many of them were aimed at a French Ship, and a Freighter from the United Kingdom. That wasn’t nice, was it?” He then stated, that his Representatives are going to Islamabad, Pakistan — They will be there tomorrow evening, for Negotiations.”
The US president Donald Trump recalled that Iran recently announced that they were closing the Strait of Hormuz, which he said was “strange, because their BLOCKADE has already closed it”.
He further stated that Iran is doing his own loss while US lost nothing.

As per the sources , in US there is a high-level meeting was held which was chaired by the president in White House Situation Room to review the evolving situation with Iran. The discussion was remained focused on developments in the Strait of Hormuz and the progress and possible outcome of ongoing negotiations.

Multiple senior officials have attended the meeting including Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, presidential envoy Steve Witkoff, CIA Director John Ratcliffe and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caine were also present.
After the meeting US President Trump has Spoken to the media at the White House after and said that Iran could not “blackmail” the United States and confirmed that talks were continuing. He stated that Washington had obtained a firm position in negotiations and did not require permission for its actions.
